2009 AAU Primary National Championships
The Primary Boys traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete in the first annual AAU Primary National Championships at the Disney Wide World Sports Complex. Our primary boys represented Track Houston well at this national meet bringing home 14 medals.

Our Midget Girls left their memorable mark on yet another Junior Olympic track meet. This year in Greensboro, North Carolina, the midget girls won gold in the 4x100 and the 4x400 meter relays. Over the last 3 Junior Olympic meets the girls have earned 63 medals and have won gold in the 4x400 meter relay all 3 years. Congratulations to the midget girls and their coaches. Not to be out done by the midget girls, the Young Men's division also won gold in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:12.82 making it a repeat year of gold for the young men. In the Intermediate Boys division, Derreck Edwards won gold in the Triple Jump with a distance of 14.42 meters.
